All Classical Ballet and related classes at Inna Ballet are taught by the director Inna Esipova. Currently only three other complementary classes are taught by guest teachers listed below.
Drama class instructor: Kelly Follman
Kelly Follman is a graduate of the Crane School of Music and holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children from SUNY Brockport. She currently is a member of the Rochester City School District where she teaches at Francis Parker Elementary School #23 as the Instrumental, Drama and Vocal teacher. Mrs. Follman directs the Compass Choir and two bands, as well as directs and produces two elementary musicals each year. She holds the position of Eastman Pathways program liaison between the city school district and the Eastman School of Music. She is a recipient of the RCSD Board of Education Yes We Can Award and the RPO Music Educator of the Year Award for her work with children in urban education, specifically Francis Parker School. Her music and drama students have received scholarships to area private schools and the Eastman School of Music. Mrs. Follman is a woodwind specialist who performs in area pit orchestras and serves as costumer for community theater. Mrs. Follman passionately believes that children greatly benefit from participation in the arts and works diligently to help children find their gifts and talents.
Contemporary Dance instructor: Lauren Bakewicz
Lauren has been with Inna Ballet as a student of Inna Esipova since 2013. In 2016 she went for 1 year of study at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. In 2017 Lauren came back and now continues her study of Classical Ballet while instructing younger students in Contemporary Dance. Lauren would like to acknowledge the following people who taught her over the years of her training. Lauren also enhanced her dancing with private coaching in rhythmic gymnastics in her early years.
Character Dance instructor: Tatiana Hulse
Tatiana Hulse graduated from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts in 1991 with a degree of Pedagogue-Choreographer of Character Dance. After graduating, she toured Europe and South Africa with the Professional Russian Dance Ensemble on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Culture. While on this tour, Tatiana was recognized for her work in the original production of the character ballet Moscow Nights for the benefit of the cultural exchange between Russia and South Africa. Tatiana has extensive international teaching experience that includes character dance workshops and master classes. She has taught in Moscow (Russia), Johannesburg (South Africa) and in Rochester, NY.
